Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic
Type of Position: Open ended Contract
Pay: $40-$48/hr (per diem offered for non-local candidates, and lots of OT available)
Location: Hagerstown, MD
Shift: 1st and 2nd shift available, must be open on shift ($4 differential on a second shift)
Job Description
Sheet metal mechanics are responsible for performing aircraft customization and modification on Bombardier Globals and King Air aircrafts. The role involves carrying out sheet metal repairs and modifications on aircraft structures.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals.
- Fabricate and install sheet metal parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform depot-level repairs and modifications on aircrafts.
Essential Skills
- 6+ years experience performing sheet metal and heavy structural modifications.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and aircraft sheet metal installation.
- Must be a US citizen and eligible for a Clearance.
- Possession of personal tools that are etched, inventoried, and shadowed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with aviation and aircraft modification processes.
- PPE-safety shoes required.
