Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic to support operations at our Orlando location. This is a highly deadline driven production environment requiring a candidate who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team while maintaining strong quality standards.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and modify aircraft structures in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform close tolerance drilling and structural assembly
- Drill, fit, and assemble aircraft components
- Fabricate parts per engineering drawings
- Remove and install fasteners and rivets
- Utilize aviation hand tools and pneumatic tools safely and effectively
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of aircraft sheet metal experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with close tolerance drilling
- Proficiency with aviation hand tools and sheet metal equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Business aviation experience preferred
- Experience working on multiple aircraft platforms
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must provide their own basic aircraft sheet metal tools necessary to perform job duties
