Job Description:
- Scope of work: Structural Mods on C-130Js for installation of surveillance systems.
- The successful candidate will possess at least 8-20 years of experience (or equivalent, see qualifications) in aircraft structures repair, modification, and aircraft mechanics.
- Relevant experience includes locating/fitting sheet metal parts and components, and performing drill-up and fastener installation all in accordance with drawings, tech manuals, or other written instructions.
- A thorough understanding of aircraft drawings and maintenance manuals
- In-depth knowledge of tools required to perform this job function
- Great familiarity with general industry standards on quality expectations and ability to proficiently self-inspect completed work.
- In-depth knowledge of sheet metal principles and techniques
- Ability and willingness to train and mentor lower-level technicians.
Job Requirements:
- Prior Mod experience, preferably ISR.
- Must have tools shadowed and etched.
- General knowledge of military aircraft FOO and Tool Control requirements
- C-130J or modification experience a plus
- A&P License is a plus.
- Must pass a standard DOT drug test and pass a criminal background check.
- Must be a US Citizen
Salary Range:
$40-$45
