Key Responsibilities

Carrying out stretch forming of aircraft sheet metal components to exact specifications

Marking out, cutting, and forming materials accurately in line with engineering requirements

Working confidently from engineering drawings, templates, and detailed work instructions

Using a range of hand tools and mechanical aids, including presses and forming equipment

Ensuring all completed work consistently meets strict quality and safety standards

Maintaining a clean, compliant, and well-controlled working environment at all times
Requirements

Time-served apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work or a closely related discipline

Previous experience within aerospace manufacturing is preferred

Strong, practical understanding of sheet metal forming processes and techniques

Ability to accurately interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical documentation

High attention to detail, with a focus on producing consistent, high-quality workmanship
