Job Title: Sheetmetal TechnicianJob Description
As a Sheetmetal Technician, you will be responsible for drilling out fasteners, riveting, and performing trim work on aircraft and parts. You will primarily focus on sheet metal modification tasks. Experience with King Air and/or working in a modification environment is advantageous, and you should be comfortable with blueprint reading.
Responsibilities
- Drill out fasteners, rivet, and execute trim work on aircraft and parts.
- Perform sheet metal modification and repair tasks.
- Utilize blueprints to guide modification processes.
- Work with airframe and composite materials as needed.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in Sheet Metal Modification.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a repair environment or experimental line.
- Possession of personal tools required for the job.
Shift
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
- Overtime is limited, maintaining a 40-hour workweek.
Work Environment
This position is based in an FBO environment in Newton, KS. The shop accommodates up to 8-10 aircraft and consists of 12 mechanics. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans or shorts and a t-shirt, though safety glasses are required at times.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
