Join a dynamic team as a Senior Mechanical Static Engineer, where youll leverage your extensive expertise to drive mechanical projects forward. Collaborate with colleagues to pioneer innovative and cost-effective solutions, enhancing techniques, procedures, and products. Your responsibilities will encompass designing products tailored to meet customer specifications, ensuring product quality, manufacturability, and facilitating new product development, prototype builds, and testing. Additionally, you may take on project management duties for smaller development projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Generate requisitions for various static equipment types, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and fired heaters, along with cost estimation.
•Incorporate relevant codes and customer specifications to produce comprehensive technical definitions of equipment.
•Serve as the primary liaison with external suppliers.
•Conduct technical evaluations of bids and participate in the supplier selection process independently.
•Review supplier designs against licensor, code, and customer requirements.
•Coordinate with suppliers throughout the fabrication phase, including attending kickoff meetings and critical inspections.
•Collaborate closely with all project team members, including quality assurance, piping, instrument, electrical, process, and structural designers, as well as purchasing personnel and project managers, to meet project static equipment requirements.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant ASME, API, and UOP standards for static equipment.
•Troubleshoot design issues and facilitate resolution.
•Work with the team to enhance infrastructure.
•Provide sales support by reviewing customer specifications and offering cost estimates for static equipment.

YOU MUST HAVE:
•Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
•4+ years of experience with specification and/or manufacture of vessels per American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section VIII Division 1 

WE VALUE:
•Experience in specifying and/or manufacturing heat exchangers according to API 660 (American Petroleum Institute) and TEMA R (Thermal Exchange Manufacturers Association) standards.
•Experience in Static Equipment design with a willingness to learn and develop.
•Experience in fabricating alloy vessels and heat exchangers is advantageous.
•Familiarity with code calculations, post weld heat treatment (PWHT), welding symbology, and general constructability issues is beneficial.
•Proficiency in using Compress (ASME Vessel design software), Adobe Acrobat Standard, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is highly desirable.
•Strong organizational skills with a disciplined approach to maintaining project files for team use.
•Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with suppliers.
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide timely updates to Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Procurement regarding requisition status and document reviews.
•Capacity to learn under the guidance of experienced engineers.
•Experience with HTRI software is advantageous.
•Familiarity with Fired Heaters is a plus.
