BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• 5+ years of experience working with non-porous metals, such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless
• 5+ years of experience working with schematics, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures
• 5+ years of experience using structures hand tools such as: drills 45 and 90 degrees, pancake adapters, counter sink cages, hole finders, and rivet guns
• 5+ years of experience working heavy structures: locating, drilling, countersinking and fastening structures (i.e.. doublers, stringers, webs, seat tracks, etc.) to aircraft
• Ability to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workload
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Previous client experience
• Experience in aircraft heavy maintenance
• 787 Platform Experience
• A&P Certification
• Experience working with composite aircraft structures
• Ability to operate a forklift, mobile crane, and riding type electric powered elevating equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting, bending, standing, operating machinery, working outside 30% of the time
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
TRAVEL:
There is possible travel for training.
WORK HOURS
FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT: 1st and 2nd shift - all candidates submitted must be willing to work both shifts. This team works 10 hours days, 6 days a week.
