About the Job:
Become part of a leading Aircraft Engineering & Modification Team as a Structures Technician You will be part of our Modification team performing Wi-Fi, ACARS & FMS and other Avionics Modifications on various types of aircraft (CRJ 700, CRJ 900, Boeing B737, Embraer 190, etc.). This is a long term contract / contract to hire position with opportunity for paid travel once direct throughout the United States and abroad. You will be staring out at our Dayton, OH location and could travel to the following states. We offer 25 - 40+ hours of OT a week. Per Diem will be offered for qualified candidates.

Job Duties:
As a Structures Mechanic you will be tasked with fabricating new sheet metal parts (brackets, housing, etc.), installing new antennas, doublers and doing intercostal work as required. Extensive riveting, drilling and sealing will be required. You may also be tasked with simple panel removal and assisting junior mechanics with their duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform installations and modifications on various aircraft types.
- Follow guidelines in aircraft manufacturer manuals and engineering drawings.
- Ensure compliance with FAR’s and Company policies.
- Work with a focus on safety and maintaining high standards.
Required Skills
- 4 - 5+ years of Aircraft Sheet Metal Repair/Structural Repair experience.
- Experience in Aircraft Modification and Sheet Metal Fabrication.
- Basic set of tools required.

Work Environment
The role requires flexibility, with work weeks of at least 6-days a week. Not uncommon for 7 day work weeks up to 12 hours a day. The team operates from 7 am until the work is completed, which can be as late as 7 pm. You will work in teams of 5-10 people and will be a part of a highly respected industry team known for delivering top-notch jobs for regional carriers. The position requires continual long-term assignments at various airline maintenance bases or one of our MRO facilities.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
