Job Duties Include:
*Remove and replace various aircraft components with the use of special tooling following oral and written instructions such as supervisor’s directives and manuals to complete all routine and non-routine assignments in a timely manner.
*Must have good oral and written communication skills
*Good working knowledge or ability to acquire skills in the following:
- Knowledge of documentation, task cards (customer work package)
- Flap peening
- Split sleeve cold working
Various Repairs including but not limited to: Wing plank; Skin repairs; Door corner; Beaded doubler (MD-11 ); Telescopic duct ( MD-11 ); Wing spar; Horizontal leading edge; Wing leading edge; Seat Track; Floor beam; and Frame- Drills holes in structure and attaches brackets, hinges, braces, and clips- Locating, drilling and installing new panels
*Perform the duties of and provide the necessary training for lower skill levels.
*Maintain and store tools in a serviceable condition.
*Adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep a clean work area.
*Successfully complete any courses deemed necessary by the Training Department.
*Performs additional repairs, duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
*3 years minimum experience in heavy commercial aircraft maintenance; Military experience will be considered
*A&P License or specialized training desired
*Must Able to Provide own tools
Available to work shift work, overtime and / or holidays on occasion, and must be able to travel as needed to perform on-site repairs
