Job Title: Structures Mechanic
Job DescriptionJoin our team in maintaining and repairing the CL-215 firefighting fleet aircraft at our base hangar. You will have the opportunity to work with advanced tools and use the WinAir maintenance tracking software to consult repair manuals, blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings. Your role will involve selecting tools and repairs, performing maintenance on structural assemblies and components, and ensuring the fleet is ready for the 2026 summer fire season.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair of the CL-215 firefighting fleet.
- Conduct C checks and perform leading edge replacements and repairs.
- Engage in corrosion control, fabricate and install replacement parts.
- Perform frequent drilling, reaming, countersinking, and riveting.
- Consult repair manuals, blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
- Use WinAir maintenance tracking software.
- Prepare for winter heavy maintenance and the upcoming fire season.
Essential Skills- 4+ years of aircraft structures experience in a heavy maintenance environment.
- Expertise in aircraft maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with C checks, turboprop, Dash-8, ATR-72, structures, and sheet metal.
- Experience with riveting, drilling, reaming, and countersinking.
- Possession of an A&P License and a valid drivers license.
- Eligibility for safety-sensitive hire.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Preferred experience in maintenance of overwing prop aircraft (e.g., Dash-8/Q400, ATRs, CL-215/CL-415).

Work Environment
Work six days a week, Monday through Saturday, for 10 hours a day from 0700 to 1730, including a 30-minute lunch. The position is based inside heavy maintenance hangars and shop areas, with occasional outdoor work. Be prepared for winter conditions in Montana, including snow and freezing temperatures, particularly in January and February.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
