Job Description:
Currently seeking sheet metal mechanics to perform heavy maintenance and overhaul on Dash-8 aircrafts for DOD and DHS clients.
 
Schedule: currently 8 hours, 5 days/week. Possibility to increase to 10 hours 6 days per week as the workload grows with a few upcoming projects 
 
Job responsibilities include the following:
      -Shoot and buck rivets to specifications
      -Recognize differences in types of metals including structural strength and thickness
      -Perform sheet metal bends to guidelines and specifications as dictated in normal aviation practices
      -Remove existing rivets from aircraft structure
      -Build components for aircraft applications using a variety of sheet metal materials
      -Perform repairs to the aircraft along with determine which repairs can or cannot be made
Job Requirements:
Skills & Qualifications
5+ years relevant heavy and/or depot level maintenance 
      -Experience with fixed wing aircraft strongly preferred
      -Experience performing modification, installs, and repairs
      -Prefer to have DCMA/Military environment experience
      -Must provide own tools.  Box will have to be etched and shadowed prior to start
      -10 yr County and Federal Background and 10-Panel Drug Screen
