Job Title: Structures Mechanic
Shift: Monday to Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. After three months, there may be a shift change to 3:00 PM to 2:00 AM (4 x 10-hour shifts). Must be open to shift change.
Job Description
As a Structures Mechanic, you will be responsible for the heavy maintenance and refurbishment of heavy-lift commercial operations helicopters (S64). Utilizing blueprints, you will perform repairs by riveting, countersinking, bending, and cutting sheet metal, as well as installing structural components. Your role will contribute to full rebuilds of S-64s using airframes from storage, and fabricating and installing all other systems for fleet additions or sales to other operators, including US and foreign agencies.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance and refurbishment of S64 helicopters.
- Utilize blueprints to execute repairs by riveting, countersinking, bending, and cutting sheet metal.
- Install structural components as required.
- Contribute to full rebuilds of S-64s using airframes from storage.
- Fabricate and install systems for fleet additions or sales to other operators.
- Tasks will be assigned based on individual abilities, such as fabrication or installation.
Essential Skills
- Ability to perform structures test involving riveting and bending.
- Proficient in drilling, cutting, bending, countersinking, and riveting aircraft sheet metal.
- 4+ years of Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) experience for at least two mechanics.
- Comfortable working with blueprints and executing structural repairs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Possession of basic hand tools is a minimum requirement.
- A&P certification is preferred but not required.
- Open to candidates from aircraft structures manufacturing backgrounds.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42.00 - $52.00/hr.
