Job Title: Structures MechanicJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Structures Mechanic to perform heavy maintenance on ATR turboprop aircraft operated by an air cargo carrier. The role involves receiving task cards, reading blueprints, identifying necessary tools, performing repairs or installations, and submitting work for inspection. The position requires expertise in drilling, reaming, and riveting to close tolerances using standard and blind/pop rivets like HI-Loks. Responsibilities also include basic fabrication, installation, quality checks, corrosion control, and fabricating and installing stringers and doublers.
Responsibilities- Receive task cards and read blueprints to determine necessary actions.
- Identify required tools and perform repairs or installations as needed.
- Submit completed work for inspection.
- Drill, ream, and rivet to close tolerances using standard and blind/pop rivets.
- Conduct basic fabrication and installation tasks.
- Perform quality checks and ensure the integrity of installations.
- Conduct corrosion control and fabricate/install stringers and doublers.
Essential Skills- 5+ years of experience in aircraft structural repair or fabrication.
- Ability to drill, ream, countersink, and rivet sheet metal working from blueprints.
- Experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environments.
- Must be able to pass a basic structures fabrication test.
- Proficiency in using a drill motor, countersink cage/microstop, rivet gun, rivet sets, 1/4" ratchet and sockets, grinder, machinists scale/rule, and clecos.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with ATR aircraft is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Work EnvironmentWork in an insulated hangar MRO facility with shops, a break room, and a tool crib all located within the same building. The work schedule consists of 5-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, on the second shift from 15:30 to 02:00. Please note that this is a new shift, and there may be small adjustments to the times.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of HAYDEN, ID.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.00 - $52.00/hr.
