🛩️ Contract‑to‑Hire Full‑Time Day Shift
✈️ ABOUT THE ROLEWe’re seeking an experienced Structures Mechanic to support the maintenance, repair, and inspection of aircraft structural components. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform sheet‑metal repairs, and install new components while ensuring strict compliance with FAA, MRO, and OSHA regulations. Your work directly impacts aircraft reliability, performance, and safety.
✅ WHAT YOU’LL DO- Perform routine and non‑routine maintenance on aircraft structural components
- Inspect structural areas for cracks, corrosion, defects, or wear
- Maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Reference manuals, specifications, and technical data to determine proper repair methods
- Install new parts or replace defective/recalled components to enhance aircraft performance
- Perform sheet‑metal repairs, including cutting, drilling, riveting, and patching
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues based on inspections and reports
- Document all steps of repair, reassembly, and sign‑off requirements
- Ensure compliance with Federal, Airside MRO, and OSHA standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
🛠️ ESSENTIAL SKILLS- 3+ years aircraft sheet‑metal / structures experience
- MRO or Part 145 Repair Station experience required
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, structures, and mechanics
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow maintenance manuals and complex technical instructions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar software for documentation and record‑keeping
⭐ ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in troubleshooting, diagnostics, inspections, and blueprint/schematic reading
- Knowledge of aircraft manuals, structural drawings, and repair schematics
- Experience with:
- Landing gear
- Full disassembly
- Bird‑strike structural repairs
- Patchwork and reinforcement repairs

🏗️ WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE- Air‑conditioned, well‑equipped facility
- Monday–Friday schedule:
- Start time between 7:00–8:00 AM
- End time between 4:00–5:00 PM
- Contract‑to‑Hire pathway
- Typical conversion around 6 months, based on performance and attendance
- Some schedule flexibility may be available based on operational needs

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
