Job Title: Structures Mechanic
Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Structures Mechanic, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing aircraft sheet metal structures. You will work on various components, including main landing gear fittings, aircraft skins, and floor beams. Your expertise will ensure compliance with maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Research technical data and perform inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft sheet metal structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine fabrication, assembly, and installation methods.
- Plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal parts, equipment, and products.
- Select appropriate gauge and type of sheet metal or nonmetallic material according to product specifications.
- Lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials using various measuring tools.
- Perform maintenance work such as equipment repair and shop housecleaning.
- Make entries in the Component Removal Log and complete tags for removed components.
- Document training received and make appropriate entries on work cards.
Essential Skills- 1-5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Experience with sheet metal repair, riveting, and drilling.
- Familiarity with aircraft modification and blueprint reading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Basic set of tools.
- Experience with commercial aircraft larger than a CRJ 900, Boeing and Airbus preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment involves physical activities such as sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, as well as frequent bending, stooping, and reaching. You will operate equipment like hydraulic press brakes, power shears, and rivet guns. Be prepared for exposure to high-intensity noise levels and temperature changes. Protective equipment such as goggles and safety harnesses is required. You may work on the B777 Cargo Conversion Program or across the property.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marana, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $42.00/hr.
