The Structures Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, fabricating and assembling hardware, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
Per diem on top of your hourly rate is offered!
Essential Skills
- Experience in airframe structural repair.
- Experience in aviation electronics and avionics.
- Experience with the testing process and optimization of test processes.
- Mechanical aptitude and assembly skills.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Electromechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Understanding of aerospace structural mechanics.
- Experience with flight and development engines.

Work Environment
The work environment primarily consists of outdoor test stands, with some indoor work as needed. It requires exposure to extreme weather conditions, fumes, odors, noise, and hazardous environments. Proper PPE, including supplied air respirators and chemical-resistant self-encapsulating suits, is mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mcgregor, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
