Description:What You Will Be Doing
We are currently seeking a dedicated Structures Technician to join our dynamic team, focusing on the F-16 aircraft. This position will be based out of Shaw AFB, SC. This position may require domestic and international travel. This pivotal role involves a broad spectrum of responsibilities. Some of the job requirements include but are not limited to:

Candidate must be a high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program. Progressive and documented experience in the fighter aircraft maintenance environment. Documented qualifications in related maintenance fields. Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have the ability to obtain a DOD secret clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain passport for international travel and be able to access US military installations.

Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting.

10 annual completion bonus paid for hours worked during any F-16 modification event.
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

- Candidate must have held a USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent) in their career field.

- Must have a minimum of 6 years of comprehensive aviation experience on the F-16
Desired Skills:
- F-16 Nose to Tail experience in other specialties such as Aircraft Structural Repair or Aircraft Sheet Metal

- Additional airframes: F-22, F-35, F-15, F-18 & other fighter aircraft

- Read depot blueprints and schematics

- Microsoft Office Suite skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
