Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionPerform high-precision welding on aircraft components and structures using TIG and other specialized welding techniques. Ensure the structural integrity, safety, and compliance of welded parts with aviation industry standards. Contribute to the manufacturing, repair, and maintenance of aircraft by delivering high-quality, inspection-ready welds on thin-gauge aerospace materials, with an emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities- Prepare and weld sheet metal aircraft components.
- Use manual TIG welding equipment.
- Use resistance spot and seam welding equipment.
- Measure, examine, and test completed parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Follow work instructions, manufacturers maintenance and overhaul manuals, specifications, Service Bulletins, Air Carrier’s maintenance manuals, or other approved FAA data to ensure proper outcome of repair.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and intersections.
- Perform regular and preventative maintenance on equipment and tools.
- Fabricate or modify fixtures, applying knowledge of shop mathematics, metalworking, and layout.
Essential Skills- TIG welding

- Familiarity with FAA repair station protocols
- 2-3 years of welding experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to pass FAA/DOT pre-employment drug test and background screen
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Highly motivated individual
- Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, with hours ranging from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
- A&P license is a plus

Work EnvironmentWork full-time, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The role involves sitting or standing for extended periods, frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. It also requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling weight up to 50 pounds, along with repetitive hand movement. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are essential, as well as corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
