The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Engineering Lab is seeking a Test & Evaluation Laboratory Technician to support maintenance of the Flight Simulator Cabs and Flight Controls System Integration Lab in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania.
The Engineering Labs were established to develop, operate and maintain resources capable of supporting a wide range of engineering disciplines during the design, development, testing and production of rotorcraft. The Labs provide these engineering services for the V-22 Osprey Rotorcraft platforms. The V-22 Flight Controls SIL is designed to support the testing of the V-22 Flight Controls Hardware and Software.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate or Experienced Test and Evaluation Laboratory Technicians.
Position Responsibilities:
Enforces procedures to ensure the safe operation and repair of the vehicle management systems Integration Lab
Provides technician support for maintenance of the vehicle management systems lab electronic infrastructure
Maintains and reports status of the Government Property Inventory
Responsible for ordering all required and needed parts
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Associate Degree or higher
Experience in using electronic testing equipment
Experience reading basic wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings and documents
Experience with multi-meters and/or oscilloscopes
Experience designing circuit board level test equipment for engineering and lab use
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with Aircraft data buses (i.e., 1553, ARINC 429)
Experience with Drawing Packages (i.e., CATIA, AutoCAD, ProgeCAD and VISIO)
Experience with various electrical harness connector types
Experience working to integrate avionics, flight controls, hydraulics, fuel, electrical systems, vehicle management systems, structures, propulsion elements, landing gear, and payloads into an air vehicle
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years related work experience, etc.).
Experienced (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years related work experience, 5 years related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range associate level: $51,000 – $69,000
Summary pay range experienced level: $59,500 - $80,500
