Job Title: Test Cell Operator
*Per diem available to candidates 75+ miles outside of Aurora, OR*
Job Description
As a Test Cell Operator in a bench repair and testing environment within the Turbine Engine shop, you will play a pivotal role in overhauling helicopter engines. Your primary responsibility will be to set up, run, troubleshoot, and test turbine engine units, specifically the GE CT58 and Honeywell T55/AL5512 series. This role requires verifying engine performance and functional data to ensure compliance with manufacturer’s instructions for continued airworthiness.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals to guide repair and testing processes.
- Clean and inspect engines, engine components, and parts for damage and wear using visual examination and specialized tools.
- Replace or repair damaged and worn engine parts using hand tools, special tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment.
- Reassemble engines and perform necessary tests and checks to confirm serviceability.
- Document all inspection findings and corrective actions in maintenance records.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience maintaining turbine engines.
- Experience in turbine engine to airframe interface and test cell/on-wing troubleshooting.
- Minimum 6 months of experience operating test cell for aircraft engines.
- Turbine engine test cell experience of at least 2 years.
- A&P license is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Test Cell Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting.
- A US Person as per client ITAR regulation.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.
