The ideal candidate will perform a variety of product tests at our McKinney, TX location using detailed work instructions, test procedures, and engineering documents to test and troubleshoot technologically advanced parts/products. Duties will include set up and operation of testing equipment, troubleshooting, documenting test results, and physical movement of materials on to and off of testing platforms. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of initiative, strong work ethic, function well under pressure, and maintain a success-oriented attitude while working with diverse teams.
What You Will Do
Inspecting, maintaining, and calibrating avionics equipment, SE, and aircraft components.
Repairing EW systems, sensor systems and components, wiring harnesses and interconnecting cables.
Repairing amplifier and logic circuits; microwave equipment; servomechanisms; radio frequency circuits; video displays; and power supply circuits.
Experience working with rectifiers and controllers circuitry.
Troubleshot power supply modules and I/O modules to component level by replacing various chips and components that have high fault rate
Experience with using schematics and drawing to troubleshoot electronic circuits
Looked BOM’s to identify failed components, ordered parts and maintained stock
Understanding and be able to perform ERP systems (SAP/ETS/Microsoft Access)
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline
Experience as a Test Technician
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
