THE WORK
This position will support unit and system testing across multiple SONAR programs across Manassas Operations. This role will use a variety of diagnostic tools such as multimeters, function generators, and oscilloscopes to troubleshoot and resolve electronic failures. The technician will utilize technical drawings such as engineering drawings, schematics, and test procedures to perform testing. This position requires a strong technical background and necessitates proactive communication.

Basic Qualifications:
- Possesses knowledge of SONAR systems and functional understanding of test equipment & tools (oscilloscope, multimeters, FAT stations, etc.)

- Active security clearance

- Experience using Solumina, EPDM, and SILC
Desired Skills:
- Has base knowledge of system procedures, software builds, schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications

- Understands basics of electrical engineering

- Has the ability to troubleshoot and debug electronic devices

- Demonstrates aptitude to proactively communicate

- Contributes to a positive team culture by building effective relationships with others, contributing to Operations Excellence Teams (OETs), and being accountable for assigned tasks

- Possesses base knowledge of Linux and other operating systems

- Familiarity with Manassas programs, procedures, and work centers
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
