Job Description:

Associate Tool & Fixture Specialist (Level B) to join the Portable Tool Repair Team

  • The candidate selected to join this team will provide maintenance services and emergent support for all positive feed equipment and other pneumatic tools at across all shifts. 
  • Picks up and deliver tools in need of repair/replacement
  • Makes minor and major repairs on tools collected from across the site
  • Performs manufacture, assembly and fabrication of tools.
  • Operates various factory support equipment to move materials, product, and tools as required.
  • Provides tooling support to other organizations
  • Coordinates tooling swaps and replacements
  • Assists in determining fabrication and assembly processes for the design.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Must be willing to work train on 1st shift and support a 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift schedule.
  • Must be able to work some weekends
  • Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.
  • 1+ years of experience with the set-up, maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of machine tools
  • 1+ years of experience in repairing, maintaining, construction, and/or the inspection of tools, dies, jigs, powerfeed, etc. 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 6+ months of experience repairing, setting-up and performing general maintenance on tools
  • 6+ months of experience documenting tool repairs and managing tool inventory

Typical Education/Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
