Job Description

The Training Coordinator is responsible for facilitating technical training courses and programs, including advertising, scheduling, and coordinating evaluations. The role involves assisting in the development of curriculum and teaching aids, coordinating audits and training with the quality team, and maintaining an inventory of purchased training materials. The coordinator will perform data entry, record keeping, and tracking of personnel training and certification requirements, as well as coordinate travel arrangements for off-site training.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate technical training courses and programs by advertising and scheduling of courses, rooms, equipment, and coordinating course evaluations.
  • Assist in the development of curriculum, materials, and teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, video content, and reference workbooks.
  • Coordinate with the quality team on audits and training-related issues.
  • Maintain inventory of purchased training materials.
  • Perform data entry, record keeping, and tracking of personnel training and certification requirements, training attendance, and course evaluations.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for personnel attending off-site training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of corporate/commercial jet experience.
  • Experience in developing and administering technical training programs.
  • Basic knowledge of heavy maintenance practices within the business and/or regional aircraft industry.
  • Basic knowledge of training system development and administration principles.
  • Basic knowledge of FAR training regulations part 145 and 163.
  • Working knowledge of training techniques and video production.
  • Working knowledge of education instructional techniques and design.
  • Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, training, email, and web-based applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory agencies, management team, suppliers, and other departments.
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary to plan, prioritize, and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting.
  • Training skills necessary to create, deliver, and evaluate curriculum and materials.
  • Presentation and written communication skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
