Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of equipment related to individual requirements UH-60
- Knowledge of military publications (including electronic manuals), drawings, blueprints, microfilm, diagrams and schematics is mandatory.
- Knowledge of military and/or company forms required by work specifications is a plus.
- Shall have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience with documented training (either with the Contractor or by validation of qualifying factors to include documented prior military experience and training) on the Model, Designation, Series (MDS) H60 series, they will be performing maintenance actions on or have a current (valid) FAA A&P license at least one (1) years of documented experience in general aviation.
- All Contractor specialty mechanics / maintenance personnel (for example; Engine, Avionics, Electricians, Sheet Metal) shall have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience with documented
training (either with the Contractor or by validation of qualifying factors to include documented prior military experience and training) on the MDS H60 series systems they will be performing
maintenance actions on.

Requirements per Level:
Mech I:
All Contractor maintenance personnel shall have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience with documented training (either with the Contractor or by validation of qualifying factors to include documented prior military experience and training) on the Model Designation, Series (MDS) H60 series(L), they will be performing maintenance actions on or have a current (valid) FAA A&P license at least one (1) years of documented experience in general aviation.

Mech II:
Maintenance personnel assigned to any lead hourly position shall hold a current (valid) FAA A&P License to include a minimum of three (3) years maintenance experience, of which one (1) year shall be commensurate with position assigned with documented training (either with the Contractor or by validation of qualifying factors to include documented prior military experience and training) on the MDS H60”L” Series they will be performing lead functions on.
Mech III (Technical Inspector)
Technical Inspectors have five (5) years quality control experience on the MDS H60 “L” Series. Technical Inspectors assigned possess a valid A&P Certificate
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
- May be exposed to a wide variety of operational circumstances, including extreme weather conditions and rudimentary infrastructure.
- Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
- Must be able to see aircraft in flight, read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
- Must be physically capable of climbing vertical ladders or built-in aircraft steps to heights of 10-12 feet.
- May be exposed to chemical mist, gas, vapors, ultra-violet and infrared radiation.
- May be required to lift to 50 pounds to a height of four (4) feet and be required to lift to 20 pounds to a height of seven (7) feet.
- May be exposed to certain obstructions on the surface as well as ladders, stairs, etc.
- May be exposed to rapid or extreme temperature changes.
- May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine and jet engine aircraft
