Summary:
Perform maintenance, repair, and modifications on aircraft structures and systems, including hydraulics, flight controls, landing gear, fuel systems, and engines.
Conduct sealing, painting, shimming, and preservation of structures and systems per repair processes.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and specifications to perform required tasks.
Use aircraft tools, fixtures, and precision instruments (torque wrenches, tensiometers, micrometers, etc.).
Perform component changeouts (servo pumps, filters, engine parts) and flight control rigging.
Access aircraft systems via computer to initiate parts requests and log discrepancies.
Ensure safety compliance, perform inspections, and diagnose/resolve malfunctions.
Support schedule requirements, including potential overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
4+ years of on-aircraft general and depot-level/heavy maintenance.
Experience with aircraft interior/exterior systems (hydraulics, engines, fuel, landing gear, etc.).
Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Proficient with aircraft systems software and basic office applications.
Ability to meet physical requirements: climbing ladders, confined spaces, lifting up to 35 lbs., PPE use, and visual/color tests.
Must be able to obtain customer approval for aircraft access (dual citizenship may preclude access).
