General Purpose of Job: Weekend shift (Friday through Monday) (0800 to 1800) The A&P Mechanic’s responsibilities are primarily focused on airframe and power plant repair, on-call maintenance, aircraft launch and recovery, and other maintenance opportunities as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Must demonstrate maturity, judgment and analytical ability to perform all aspects of maintenance
- Troubleshooting and performing needed repairs to airframe components, engines, and a variety of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs to aircraft accessories
- Perform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements
- Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install replacement parts and testing aircraft system
- Complete required logbook entries of accomplished maintenance and comply with all company and FAA requirements
- Perform aircraft pre-flight inspections, servicing.
- Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments
- Must support all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA and EPA regulations
- Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints
- Present a clean and neat work area
- Demonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to the internal/external customer
- May be required to work nights, on call hours, or holidays
- Ability to lift 45 pounds or more
- Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned
