Welder Advanced - Level 3
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm
As a Welder Advanced - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing advanced welding operations on various components and structures. You will utilize your expertise in welding techniques and equipment to ensure high-quality welds and meet production targets. Your role will involve working with a team of skilled welders and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the manufacturing process by ensuring the integrity and strength of welded components. Your attention to detail and precision will contribute to the overall quality of our products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform advanced welding operations using various weldingtechniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weldingsymbols to determine welding requirements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including weldingmachines, torches, and other tools.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure compliance withquality standards.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments toensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere tosafety guidelines.U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Welder
• Advanced knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work withprecision
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weldingsymbols
• Good communication and teamwork skillsWE VALUE
• Welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME)
• Experience with welding stainless steel and aluminum
• Knowledge of welding codes and standards
• Familiarity with welding inspection techniques
• Ability to operate welding robots and automated systems
