About the RoleIn this hands-on role, you’ll support critical manufacturing operations by delivering high-quality welding, fabrication, and repair work. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure every product meets strict engineering and safety standards. This is a contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a long-term role.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime: Fridays as needed
Type: Contract with potential for permanent placement
Pay rate: $24.00/hour
What You’ll DoWelding & QualityPerform MIG and TIG welding across a range of materials and components
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to guide production
Inspect and evaluate welds for strength, accuracy, and compliance
Identify defects such as porosity, undercut, and incomplete penetration—and repair accordingly
Execute groove and fillet welds in multiple positions (1–5G, 1–3F)
Fabrication & AssemblyRead and interpret technical drawings and mechanical plans
Align, fit, and assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures
Conduct inspections to ensure parts meet precise specifications
Troubleshoot fabrication issues to maintain production efficiency
Safety & CollaborationFollow all safety and operational procedures
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Work collaboratively with team members while also managing tasks independently
What You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience with MIG and TIG welding (required)
Brazing experience
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
