Job Summary
The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible to his/her immediate supervisor for the accomplishment of all work assigned in accordance with company policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the company and applicable government agencies.
This position will primarily support B-737 Wi-Fi modification projects, including installation and modification work associated with aircraft connectivity systems.
Job Description

Perform aircraft maintenance and modification work to ensure airworthiness according to customer specifications and FAA standards.

Primarily perform B-737 Wi-Fi modification installations, including removal and installation of associated components, wiring, antenna systems, and structural modifications as required.

Remove and replace aircraft components according to approved documentation.

Identify, remove, and install inspection access panels.

Read and interpret maintenance manuals to identify and locate aircraft components and accurately implement instructions.

Identify structural composition (aluminum or composite) prior to performing work.

Perform aircraft lubrication, filter replacements, and leak checks.

Perform repairs on discrepancies and research manufacturer manuals for approved repair procedures.

Notify Lead of any unusual damage or findings during maintenance.

Order correct parts per illustrated parts catalog (IPC).

Accurately document all maintenance in accordance with the Repair Station Manual and applicable forms.

Maintain tools and work area in a clean, orderly manner.

Verify calibration status of all precision tools and test equipment prior to use.

Must be willing and able to work overtime (OT) as required to support project schedules and deadlines.
Job Requirements

Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification required.

Experience on B-737 aircraft preferred.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a professional working proficiency.

Own tools as required by company tool list.

Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and IPCs.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and stoop for extended periods.

Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks using arms and hands.
