* 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience with leadership responsibilities
* Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
* Apply FAA regulations, technical data, and maintenance documentation systems
* Operate standard shift vehicles and related equipment safely
* Manage multiple maintenance projects and adjust priorities as required
* Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
* Solid communication skills, including following/verbal and written instructions in English
* Ability to supervise multiple projects and apply technical data effectively
* Skilled in problem-solving, adapting to changing priorities, and remaining calm in emergencies
* Basic knowledge of supervisory techniques and human behavior
* Operate a standard-shift vehicle and applicable equipment safely Preferred Skills
* 2 years of education in Aviation Management or related discipline, or equivalent experience
* 5 years of supervisory experience in aviation maintenance environments
* Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency
* Strong knowledge of supervisory methods and workforce coordination
* Experience improving productivity, efficiency, and maintenance planning processes Job Duties & Functions
* Supervise and coordinate maintenance personnel activities, including work assignments, workload distribution, and problem resolution
* Evaluate schedules and estimate labor requirements to meet production demands
* Review non-preplanned work documents to determine tooling, materials, and labor needs
* Ensure all maintenance work complies with FAA regulations, technical data, and company procedures
* Verify completion and accuracy of all required maintenance paperwork and documentation
* Secure customer approval for maintenance estimates and revised work scopes
* Maintain production and timekeeping records for assigned personnel
* Oversee aircraft disassembly operations and ensure proper documentation of part numbers, serial numbers, and job numbers
* Enforce safety policies and ensure safe work practices across all maintenance activities
* Conduct employee training, onboarding, and on-the-job instruction while ensuring documentation compliance
* Perform employee performance evaluations and provide feedback to management regarding staffing actions
* Interpret company policies and enforce quality and safety standards
* Coordinate with customers to obtain maintenance-related project data and requirements
* Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and cost control
* Perform duties of Production Controller or Project Manager in their absence
* Ensure continuous communication across teams to maintain operational efficiency and workforce alignment Physical Requirements & Environment
* Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods during shift operations
* Perform frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level
* Occasionally climb, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
* Utilize eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity for maintenance oversight activities
* Work in hangars, flightline, and avionics shop environments
* Exposure to high noise levels, temperature changes, electrical energy, hazardous materials, and moving machinery
* Use required PPE, including goggles, gloves, face shields, respirators, and hearing protection
