Minimum Qualifications
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- Piston-powered aircraft maintenance experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations
- Knowledge and understanding of aircraft technical publications
- Basic computer skills
- Plays well with others and understands the importance of maintaining a positive, professional and encouraging demeanor with our students and team members.
Desired Qualifications
- FAA Inspection Authorization
- Detailed knowledge of Cessna 150/152/172/182RG, Cessna 310 and Piper Cherokee/Warrior/Arrow aircraft systems and troubleshooting
- Private pilot’s license
 Responsibilities
- Ensure performance of efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance with approved technical data, applicable FAA regulations, and company policies.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries
- Able to acquire the authority to perform engine run and aircraft taxi as authorized by Huffman Aviation qualification.
- Has the authority to operate various ground support equipment and passenger vehicles limited to airport operations movement area with a current and valid U.S. state issued motor vehicle driver's license, and a signed movement area limitation. 
- Able to research all pertinent information and material for work scheduled on aircraft. 
- Maintain cleanliness of maintenance areas at all times. 
- Always maintain positive tool control accountability. 
- Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in a safe manner.
- Work with Operations team to coordinate aircraft dispatch availability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
