Description:This position will fill the 2nd Line Management position for the ABU. There will be 9 to 10 L3 and L4 managers that report to this position across two shifts. This role includes workload balancing, leader development and mentorship, capital needs, equipment needs, overhead budget adherence, priority deconfliction, and more; ultimate ownership of everything the ABU achieves or does not achieve related to safety, quality, cost and schedule.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of formal leadership experience in a manufacturing setting and appropriate 4 year degree from an accredited college; OR, in lieu of education, minimum 8 years of formal leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
Desired Skills:
Experience leading and developing leaders
MS Office Proficiency
Understanding of scheduling, critical path, and the basic principles of EVMS
Root Cause/Corrective Action understanding
Lean Manufacturing familiarity and hands-on experience
Desire to spend time on the floor and interact heavily with both leadership and operators
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $102,000 - $195,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $117,300 - $221,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
