We are seeking a hands-on, engineer-minded ATE Test- Level Manager to lead our Automated Test Department in a fast-paced, FAA Part 145 MRO environment. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background in avionics or electronic test systems who can combine leadership skills with a focus on keeping test equipment running efficiently and optimizing daily workflow.

You’ll oversee daily operations of automated test systems (ATE), such as TestTek, ensure all machines are maintained and operating, and manage the team’s schedule to meet turnaround, throughput, and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the ATE team, fostering accountability and a problem-solving mindset
• Oversee daily operations of automated test systems, ensuring all machines are operational and efficiently scheduled
• Plan and manage daily workloads to maximize throughput and minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot test equipment issues, provide technical guidance, and coordinate repairs as needed
• Maintain compliance with FAA Part 145, FARs, and internal quality procedures
• Ensure proper documentation, process adherence, and audit readiness for all testing activities
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and engineering teams to resolve workflow challenges and improve test efficiency
• Optimize scheduling to keep all machines running throughout the shift while meeting customer turnaround requirements
• Track key metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to testing workflow

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience- preferably in a Part 145 MRO, avionics, or aerospace testing environment
• Hands-on experience with automated test equipment (ATE) such as TestTek or equivalent
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
• Engineer-minded with attention to workflow optimization and process efficiency
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, FARs, and Repair Station procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and test documentation
• Experience with scheduling, production planning, and team coordination
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking — FAA requirement)
