The Inventory Management & Logistics team is responsible for the procurement of consumables for the fleet of Icelandair and other partners. The team consists of a powerful group that ensures that a stock of consumables is always available for Icelandairs maintenance department. The team works in a solution-oriented and economical way.
An Account Manager manages stock levels, purchase proposals, and purchases of consumables in accordance with agreements with suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for procurement and inventory management of spare parts.
- Responsibility for the operation of contracts.
- Responsibility for good relations with suppliers and customers.
- Responsibility for providing information to customers.
Qualifications
- Education that is beneficial.
- Can work independently and in a group.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent English skills.
- Strong cost awareness.
- Knowledge of Maintenix is a plus.
- Aircraft maintenance experience is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Outlook and Excel.
