HoneywellPersonal Protection Equipment (PPE) is searching for an Account Manager to join our team. We are a $1.3B business and a long-time player inprotecting people on the job.  We are focused on protecting people in theconstruction, manufacturing, oil and gas, utilities, and transportation industrieshead-to-toe with everything from hard hats, eyewear and masks to clothing,gloves, work boots, electrical safety gear and fall protection.  In short,PPE enables people everywhere the protection needed to perform their jobs andreturn home safely. 

Asa member of the PPE sales team, you will be helping build our business with existingend customers and channel partners in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, and Minneapolis. You willdefine sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning withcritical business objectives. As our face to the customer, you are key to discovering newcustomer needs and opportunities that drive increased revenue.

We support our critical sales roles with world-classmarketing and sales excellence programs that include a range of training inareas from leadership to selling skills, all backed by modern selling tools andtechnology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage existing book of business to meet or exceed assigned sales quota
  • Identify & generate opportunities and prospect for new business
  • Manage and plan accounts
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Articulate and deliver customer value proposition
  • Manage momentum through the sales cycle
  • Establish rapport with customers
  • Domestic travel up to 50
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3+ years of customer facing sales experience
  • 1+ years of experience with CRM tool (Ex: Salesforce.com)

WE VALUE

  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience with personal protective equipment and/or safety-related sales
  • Significant experience in a Sales/Account Management related role
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities & navigate in a highly matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence at varying levels across the organization
