This is a remote position where you can work anywhere in the United States. Project Analysts/Managers oversee supporting the development and implementation of aerospace projects. We are seeking a motivated Analysts/Manager to collaborate with multiple Engineering departments to generate and support a Master Build of Materials (BOM) for a new project. This includes researching, coordinating with other programs for commonality, working with purchasing/vendors to meet schedule deadlines. The Analysts/ Manager should have an extensive Aerospace knowledge (but not limited to), excellent communication skills to work with other departments to coordinate the production of sub-assemblies. We are seeking a motivated, detail oriented, energetic Project Analyst/Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing a new project’s Bill-of-Material (BOM). In this role, the Analyst will also review drawings and supply feedback to engineers, and track and report on product order/delivery status. The Analyst will also collaborate with Engineering, Configuration Management, and Manufacturing departments to mitigate the risks to the schedule and deadlines by raising key issues and presenting options for resolution to cross-functional partners. 

Job Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Aerospace Mechanical, Flight Controls, APU, Hydraulic and Fuel Systems is preferred.
  • Previous experience creating and managing a Build of Materials (BOM).
  • Experience in Procurement, Manufacturing, Material Planning, Managing Supply Chain Vendors, Manufacturing of Sub- Assemblies, and Logistics are a plus.
  • Understanding and Technical skills sufficient to review and interpret engineering drawings, documents, schematics, and technical requirements.
  • Initiative-taker and can work with ambiguity.
  • Ability to multitask, adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal).
  • Solid collaboration skills
  • New Product Induction (NPI process) a plus
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in an Aerospace Engineering or Analyst Role.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems and how they operate.
  • Proficiency with a variety of tools and equipment
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
