Digital Platform Services Team is a dedicated team of engineers collaborating with application development teams to develop cutting-edge products and manage the infrastructure platforms. Our role encompasses maintaining infrastructure stability, fostering DevOps culture through automation, managing operational databases, and facilitating seamless integration across platforms. Our services form the backbone of all Emirates Airlines and dnata applications.


The Agile Delivery Lead is responsible for planning, leading, organising and motivating teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in the delivery of outcomes. The Agile Delivery Lead may be responsible for managing teams and/or several projects via a blend of agile and waterfall delivery methods in a fast-paced, complex, demanding environment.
 
In this role, you will:


•       Support the Head of Digital Platforms Delivery and the Technical Product manager in key ceremonies such as PI planning and play a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, processes, and tools supporting the Delivery framework
•       Be able to apply traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile approach in the right proportions to fit team work and projects of all sizes with the appropriate level of planning and provide the right balance of agility and predictability.
•       Have strong Risk and Issue management skills and experience, including the ability to proactively identify, assess and mitigate potential challenges, ensuring smooth execution of work.
•       Deliver the pre-implementation (ideation, tendering, evaluation, contracting, approval process) and technology implementation phases of a project end to end
•       Know how to build a plan, working with Product managers and architects to define the definition of done, establishing the milestones to get the project to completion whilst effectively managing and reporting on the overall status of the solution or project through clear and accurate reporting standards.
•       Drive Quality and ensure the feature and milestone Definition of Done (DOD) is being followed, ensure each team member is fully engaged and that they are making meaningful contributions. 
•       Assist in team development through holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work, leveraging cross functional team skills to improve product backlog throughput, and mentoring and developing team members. 
•       Support the Technical Product Manager in managing business expectations and transparency in both product backlog and schedule for all work
•       Define and manage a well-defined process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Delivery Management. Implement agile governance with key ceremonies, drive continuous improvement with constant assessments of velocity (team story point throughput etc
•       Assist with the cost estimation / sizing exercise for both near term and future initiatives and assist with preparing total cost of ownership with the product team. Also supports the RFx phases in the procurement process and the scheduling of such activities in relation to the product lifecycle.

Job Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements: 


Qualifications:


•       Degree in Computer Science or similar.
•       Certified Scrum master and PMI ACP (additional certifications such as PMI, Prince 2, CSM desirable) with 5+ years of practical application.


 Experience: 


•       5+ years of working experience in Information Technology.
•       Experience in Agile and waterfall delivery.



Knowledge/skills:
•       Good infrastructure knowledge on various Digital platforms like Public Cloud ,Network, Servers, Database, Integration etc would be an added advantage. 
•       Must be well-versed in the use of tools of software delivery (MS Office suite, JIRA, Confluence).
•       Ability to effectively communicate specialist information in an understandable format to all stakeholders.
•       Excellent communication skills.
•       Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to be concise and demonstrates this through their work and project reporting.
