Position Summary
The Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor I is responsible for the efficient execution of the work scope and the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations performed under the authority of the Clay Lacy FAA Certificated Repair Station and promotes the Clay Lacy Aviation vision, mission and values to create a positive team environment that raises the level of safety, service and value for our customers and employees.

- Schedule: Day Shift
- Compensation: $57.15 - $77.93/ per hour; with fully paid medical and healthcare premiums
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with Aircraft Controllers and Quality Assurance Inspectors to execute the aircraft work scope.
- Communicate effectively with customers as required.
- Promote an environment that provides the team with opportunities to succeed.
- Contribute to annual performance evaluations of personnel under their leadership.
- Monitor and document employee performance throughout the performance period.
- Attend customer debrief meetings for all assigned aircraft.
- Assign maintenance, QC, and support shop technicians to tasks based on work scope and monitor their performance.
- Supervise daily activities to ensure work is completed on time and within labor and material estimates.
- Monitor and control overtime.
- Ensure qualified personnel are assigned to every task and that technical data is properly used.
- Assist the operations manager in identifying technical training needs.
- Ensure completion of maintenance paperwork in accordance with the Clay Lacy Repair Station Manual.
- Provide comprehensive shift turnover for operational continuity.
- Manage aircraft downtime and schedules to ensure timely delivery of quality work.
- Collaborate with Controllers or Aircraft Maintenance Managers on Work Order Squawk Form approvals.
- Work in cooperation with QA Inspectors to ensure aircraft approval for return to service.
- Ensure crews maintain cleanliness and safety in the work environment.
- Ensure crews follow safety precautions and procedures, and inspect equipment for compliance with safety and OSHA standards.
- Supervise a continuous safety program including support equipment operation, aircraft systems, housekeeping, and hazardous materials handling.
- Support Clay Lacy’s Vision, Mission, and Values through achievement of department goals and process improvements.
- Comply with company rules, regulations, safety policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform other responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma, or equivalent.
- A&P Certificate required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Pt 91 / Pt 135 aviation experience in a supervisory role.
