Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment team as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor for our F-35 Program at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona! This role provides the direct management of the Aircraft Maintenance Unit Support/Supply, Debrief, and Wheel and Tire sections.

Other responsibilities include:
• Integrates with the host squadron’s leadership, advises host squadron of schedule requirement and production issues as they pertain to the F-35 aircraft.
• Supervises daily Support/Supply and Debrief activities. Acts as Production Supervisor on an as required basis.
• Ensure workforce follows appropriate technical instructions, Air Force Instruction 21-101, and local operating instructions. Advises management of status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
• Must be able to perform short notice travel for business, Temporary Duty (TDY), and extended TDY to support Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) program, mission or customer requirements. A valid passport is desired.
• Candidates must be capable of working first (1st), second (2nd), or third (3rd) shift(s) dependent on mission requirements or customer needs.
• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a flight line driving competency card.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must possess at minimum Interim Secret Clearance. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.
• Physical Requirements: Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.
• Must possess valid Driver’s License and must be able to obtain and maintain a flight line competency card and pass requirements for operating forklift and delivery trucks

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

- 6 Years of fighter aircraft maintenance experience with thorough understanding of flight line and tool room operations.
- Overall fighter experience must include at least 3 years F-35 aircraft maintenance experience
- Experience with programs such as Tool Control/Accountability, Hazardous Waste Management, Safety, Training, FOD, Security, or Supply Chain Management
- Experience leading a diverse workforce
- Proficient at Microsoft Office computer programs
- Must possess valid Driver’s License and must be able to obtain and maintain a flight line competency card and pass requirements for operating forklift and delivery trucks
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
• 1 year experience as an aircraft production superintendent or expeditor
• 4 years leadership experience in an aircraft maintenance environment
• Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) experience
• Understanding of USAF Maintenance Practices
• Effective communication skills for coordination at all levels throughout the USAF Wing structure to include Operations, Maintenance, and Logistics Support Managers
• Ability to develop and present formal briefings and presentations

• Knowledge and understanding of USAF AFI 21-101

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
