Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating project activities for large, complex flight operations software implementations in collaboration with both internal stakeholders and Navblue customers. The project manager is the main Navblue focal point for customers during the implementation phase that extends from sales handover to solution cutover and transition to customer support. A key focus for this role will be on managing customer satisfaction, customer expectations and ensuring that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

This job requires excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving skills as well as enthusiasm for building a privileged relationship with customers. The project manager must also demonstrate  the ability to work in a dynamic multi cultural - multi disciplinary environment.



 

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts project handover from sales ensuring that the project Scope of Work and contractual agreements are well framed and understood. Identify and socialize project risks in case of doubts. 

  • Develops project plans specifying project deliverables, scheduling, milestones, identification and management of risks, contingency plans and allotment of resources; review with Senior Management as required 

  • Prepares and leads on-site or remote Kick-Off meetings with customers and relevant internal stakeholders

  • Establishes and maintains good communications with Product Management, the customer and internal staff on project issues and concerns including managing customer expectations on requests for changes to project deliverables.

  • Ensures that project activities are appropriately tracked and recorded

  • Liaises with NAVBLUE sales in case of Scope of Work deviations requiring change requests

  • Protects the product and development teams from scope creep

  • Creates ,maintains and records project activities for both internal and external customers 

  • Schedules and facilitates customer and project team meetings 

  • Identifies and reports project changes that affect budget and / or timeline

  • Anticipates and devises solutions to problems that may arise in project execution 

  • Properly notifies Management of any pending or current escalations relating to the project that could impact the success of the project

  • Monitors quality of project deliverables Organizes proper hand-over to customer support (user manuals & product documentation, scheduling training, hand-over to Account Management, orientation with NAVBLUE’s customer support infrastructure)

  • May include management of third party vendors

  • Co-ordination and communication with customers and internal stakeholders in multiple countries and across multiple time zones 


 

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities & Competencies:

  • Ability to maintain strong customer relationships in challenging environments

  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem solving, facilitation and organization skills

  • Understand the business value offered by Navblue products

  • Able to travel to global customer sites as required


 

Education:

  • Successful completion of University degree in Aviation Industry, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience

  • Project Management Professional credentials from accredited Project Management Institute, or equivalent work experience


 

Experience:

  • Extensive Project Management and Implementation experience in a software technology environment, with projects of varying scope and size 

  • Prior experience in commercial airline flight operations is preferred

Technical Systems Proficiency:

  • Experience with Google workspace is a plus


 

Travel Required: 

  • 30 Domestic and International
