THE TEAM
The Airport Development Team sits at the heart of easyJet’s network, working closely with airport partners and internal operational teams to deliver value across our flying programme. The team manages a significant proportion of the airline’s external spend on airport charges and plays a critical role in shaping where and how we fly across Europe.
THE ROLE
As an Airport Development Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of airports, managing relationships that directly impact our operation and customer experience. This is a highly visible role where your work will influence network decisions, cost efficiency, and our competitive position across Europe. You will;
> Develop and deliver short, medium and long-term strategies to optimise airport cost bases across your portfolio.
> Lead commercial negotiations with airports to secure competitive charges and incentives.
> Partner with network planning, operations and finance teams to support route performance and growth.
> Build strong relationships with airport operators, tourism boards and government bodies.
> Support new route development by unlocking funding, marketing support and strategic partnerships.
> Represent easyJet in airport consultations, working with regulatory and policy teams.
> Monitor financial performance against plan and take ownership of delivering savings targets.
> Drive continuous improvement and innovation across airport partnerships and supplier performance.
> Ensure robust contract management, including diversion agreements and service specifications.
