Description:Supports the maintenance, reconditioning, refurbishment of US Navy Torpedoes in a team-based production-refurbishment industrial environment at the MK48 Torpedo Intermediate Maintenance Activity in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

This position requires demonstrated experience in team leadership and personnel management. This multifunctional Supervisor will be required to perform the following leadership and personnel management duties:
• Coordinate the technical training, qualifications, and proficiency demonstrations for team personnel;
• Coordinate the setting of performance objectives appropriate to the work of the Work Center and the mission of the overall team;
• Perform performance assessments of team members, to include: evaluations of strengths, areas for improvement, and overall performance grades;
• Provide mentoring support for team members, assistance with Development Plans, and orchestration of growth and development activities;
• Implement disciplinary actions when necessary;
• Coordinate with the assigned Human Resources Support Team to resolve morale, welfare, and health benefit concerns of team members;
• Coordinate with Senior Management on employee succession planning, programmatic strategic planning, and process improvement planning activities.

The Supervisor shall oversee and/or perform as required but not limited to:
- Review of completed work packages for work centers
- Installation of components on MK48 Torpedoes
- Assembly of systems/components on MK48 Torpedoes
- On the job training
- System, Group and Torpedo component level maintenance
- Ordnance moving evolutions in the team lead/safety observer position
- Ordnance accountability and tracking
Maintenance actions shall be performed in accordance with approved NAVSEA Technical Manuals.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in the assembly/disassembly of mechanical systems
- Torpedo assembly/disassembly experience or equivalent systems
- Torpedo Operations and Maintenance at the Intermediate or Depot level
- Ordnance Handling operation management
- Computer literacy in operation of MS Office type tools
- Maintenance process documentation control
- Experience working with Electrical circuits, computers and automated test equipment theory
- Team Leadership experience with technical teams.
- Earning/Maintaining technical and administrative job specific qualifications
- Qualifications in assembly of MK48 Torpedo component/groups
Desired Skills:

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
