Job DescriptionAs the Assistant Manager, Finance, you will support the Finance Manager in overseeing the company’s financial operations. Your role ensures the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of accounting processes while contributing to financial planning and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial and statutory reporting.
Review and reconcile accruals, provisions, prepayments, and ensure policy compliance.
Assist in maintaining working capital and financial liquidity through accurate analysis.
Supervise and mentor finance team members to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
Perform reconciliations of receivables, payables, and bank statements; investigate variances.
Resolve Accounts Payable issues and coordinate with shared service teams as needed.
Support ERP/system enhancements and cross-functional financial process improvements.
Assist with the consolidation of subsidiary financials and preparation of board reports.
Monitor related party transactions to ensure compliance and transparency.
Handle other ad hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred (ACCA, ICAEW, MICPA).
- 3–5 years of experience in finance or audit, ideally within the Philippines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools/systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Effective communication and team leadership abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
