Position Summary Responsible for a defined portfolio of leisure segments with accountability for product development, product pricing strategy, and maintaining a product portfolio that meets customer needs. The role also shares accountability with the Regional Sales team for overall sales performance.
Key Accountability- Manage the global leisure product portfolio and proactively identify opportunities for product development and business expansion across all distribution channels.
- Develop, plan, and implement a strategic and robust business development plan to ensure the global leisure product meets its objectives and delivers sustainable business solutions.
- Develop new business opportunities related to the leisure spanet segment while managing and improving existing leisure products.
- Prepare master business strategies to achieve short-, medium-, and long-term mutual benefits across all sales distribution channels.
- Ensure the leisure segment strategy is implemented according to the plan.
- Coordinate with regional offices and drive target achievement within the leisure segment.
- Collaborate with and support teams at all points of sale globally on leisure product implementation and accounts relevant to the global product strategy.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, increase spanet share, and maximize revenue from leisure products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the leisure spanet.
- Proactively identify business opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling additional products and services to existing clients.
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess customer satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and resolve issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and exceptional customer experiences.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, spanet dynamics, and competitor activities to identify threats and opportunities and develop appropriate strategies.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and negotiate contracts to secure new business.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, spanet trends, and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, generate leads, and enhance brand visibility.
Qualification & Working Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the airline industry or related sectors
