Job TitleAssistant Manager, Technical Configuration

Role PurposeLead a group of engineers to define, build, revise and manage configuration data for aircraft and components; and to provide technical configuration data support to production/operational areas pertaining to configuration data in order to maintain a fleet of aircraft and their components throughout the entire life cycle. Ensure that E&M processes are in compliance with regards to aircraft configuration data.
Key Accountability- Define Aircraft and Component Model configurations, Zones, ATA Chapters and parameters required in monitoring the condition or usage of the aircraft and component
- Liaise on matters pertaining to configuration data with business units, suppliers, clients and airworthiness authorities
- Provide technical configuration data support to production and and operational areas to minimize and resolve interruptions in configuration data discrepacies
- Assist, review and update technical data related to Aircraft and Component Maintenance Programs
- Assist and support in all processes affecting aircraft configuration data to ensure data compliance
- Identify methods of improving the efficiency of business processes and configuration data management through effective coordination with Business Unit, Engineering IT, Group IT, IT suppliers and other clients
Qualification & ExperienceDegree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or any related to Aviation or Avionics Maintenance with 4-6 years in Airline Engineering or Aviation-related experience; knowledge in IT System will be an added advantage
Skills & Knowledge- Knowledge of airline Engineering & Maintenance operations, project management and IT support system
- Resourceful and dynamic with good communication skills (verbal & written) and good analytical skills
- Familiarity with Maintenance Repair & Overhoul IT System and Content Management System would be advantageous
- Able to lead a group of engineers to perform the defined tasks
