To manage and optimize the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of goods and services required for airline operations, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, compliance, and timely delivery in alignment with the company’s strategic and operational goals.

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for aviation-related categories (e.g., fuel, MRO, catering, ground handling, uniforms, inflight products, IT systems, etc.).

• Conduct spanet analysis to identify potential suppliers, cost trends, and risk factors.

• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including RFI, RFQ, and RFP.

• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to achieve best value.

• Manage supplier selection and qualification in compliance with company standards.

• Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and service providers.

• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs (cost, quality, delivery, compliance).

• Review and renew supplier contracts as needed, ensuring SLA and regulatory compliance.

• Manage disputes or performance issues with vendors.

• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.

• Analyze spend data to track cost trends and improve procurement efficiency.

• Support annual budgeting and forecasting for procurement-related costs.

• Ensure procurement activities align with corporate policies, safety standards, and aviation regulations (e.g., IATA, FAA, EASA).

• Maintain transparent records and audit trails for all procurement activities.

• Support ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) and sustainability initiatives in supplier selection.

• Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Flight Services teams to understand requirements and deliver optimal solutions.

• Participate in project teams for new route launches, fleet expansion, or base setup.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

• Professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM, PMP) preferred.

• 5+ years of procurement experience, ideally in the aviation or transportation industry.

• Strong understanding of airline operations, MRO, and aviation supplier spanets.

• Proven track record in contract negotiation and supplier management.

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficiency in ERP and procurement software (SAP Ariba, Oracle, etc.).

• Knowledge of aviation regulatory frameworks.

• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
