Job Description

The Associate Product Manager assists in the development, launch, and continuous improvement of products or specific product features. This role is highly cross-functional, supporting product strategy through data analysis, customer empathy, and collaboration with engineering, design, and business teams. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct spanet research, competitive analysis, and industry trend analysis to identify opportunities and spanet gaps.

  • Gather and synthesize quantitative product data (e.g., web analytics, usage metrics) and qualitative customer research (surveys, interviews, user feedback) to inform product decisions.

  • Analyze product performance data to identify areas for improvement and report findings to senior management.

2. Product Development Support:

  • Assist in defining product requirements, writing user stories, and maintaining the product backlog.

  • Support the creation and maintenance of the product roadmap in alignment with the overall product strategy and business goals.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies (like sprint planning and retrospectives) and coordinate with the engineering and design teams to ensure smooth development cycles.

  • Perform testing and quality assurance (QA) on new features and product updates.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between the product team and cross-functional partners (e.g., Engineering, Design, Business, Customer Support).

  • Help prepare and present project status, risk management, and product updates to stakeholders.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of product launches, often by creating support or training documentation for internal teams and customers.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in a related field

  • 2-4 years of experience in product management

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Analytical mindset, with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and the ability to evaluate partnership opportunities based on business impact and ROI.

  • Experience with project management, agile development methodologies, and product management tools.

  • Passion for innovation and a drive to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in partnership management and product development.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

  • Excellent in converting business requirements into  Product Requirements Document(PRD) and ensuring clarity in scope, objectives, and deliverables for all stakeholders
