Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Associate or Mid-Level Avionics Project Management Specialist (Level 3) to join the 737 Development Airplane Level Integration Team (ALIT) based in Renton, Washington!

The successful candidate will be able to take ambiguous uncharted information and mold it into an achievable and scalable plan. This person will apply their project management experience to aid in the definition of project scope, objectives, and milestones. Through the application of project management standard methodologies, this role will track overall project performance, identify risk and mitigation plans and adapt scope and schedule as required.

This role will also be responsible for the integration of projects across the organization and communication of status to the leadership team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Participates in maintaining, analyzing, and producing metrics related to plans. Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case.
  • Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
  • Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules. Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team.
  • Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholder.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Renton, WA

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools.
  • 1+ years of experience presenting to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership.
  • 1+ years of experience working within a cross-functional interpersonal environment.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 + years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in facilitating meetings and presenting to senior leaders.
  • 3+ years of experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment
  • Experience with a variety of project management tools.
  • PMP or Project Management certification

Typical Education & Experience:

Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years related work experience, 7 years related work experience, etc.).

Mid-Level (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): 73,950 - $80,040

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (level 3): $93,500 - $101,200
