Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate or Mid-Level Project Management Specialist (Level 2 or 3) to join the 787 Business Operations Customer Introduction team based out of Everett, Washington.

The 787 Business Operations Customer Introduction team is seeking a Change Coordinator Project Management Specialist to join our organization. Successful candidates will have an introductory understanding of change management, building and managing schedules, and coordination with cross functional groups to support 787 Customer Intros. You will have the opportunity to manage critical projects, scheduling, integration & collaborate with various cross-functional teams to include design engineering, supplier management, finance, business operations, and manufacturing. The larger 787 Business Operations team is split between Charleston and Everett depending on role and the candidate will be on 100 on site at either site.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Works with others to integrate product/process change requirements and document changes in change incorporation plans.

  • Leads change management effort cross functionally to meet program needs.

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, and program initiatives.

  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates, and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.

  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.

  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

  • Assists customers to develop a performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience managing project schedules and managing programs and projects

  • 3+ years of experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues

  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams and external customers

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience using Open Plan Professional or similar project management software tools such as Primavera

  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating leadership for driving issue resolution and mitigating technical risk

  • 3+ years of experience facilitating meetings & presenting to senior leadership

Typical Education/Experience: 
Associate Level (Level 2):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years related work experience, 7 years related work experience, etc.).

Mid-Level (Level 3):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range (Level 2): $74,000.00 - $80,000.00

Summary pay range (Level 3): $94,000.00 - $101,000.00
